jkweb ag is a versatile agency based in Basel and Zurich. All over Switzerland we develop web and software solutions, closely intertwined with effective imagery and design. We see ourselves as your partner and always try to actively put our creativity, experience and drive into projects that set new standards: in terms of design, concept, content, and technology.

History

November 2011

As a part-time job in high school, Pascal and Jeremias start building websites for friends and acquaintances.

January 2012

Wolfgang and Dominique, two friends from school, come on board as the first employees. As a team of four we explore the possibilities of IE6 & co.

July 2013

After approx. 100 implemented websites, the company is registered as a general partnership "Josephy & Kläui Webdesign" in the commercial register. The name JKweb is established.

September 2013

Pascal's computer science studies at ETH Zurich lead to new acquaintances and talents - JKweb now already counts 6 employees. More and more of our customers are based in Zurich.

September 2014

Projects are becoming more complex and exciting, but admin tasks are also becoming more time-consuming. We establish the JKweb GmbH. There are 12 employees in the company.

June 2015

After many years of client meetings in cafés, we move into our first office in the St. Johanns-Vorstadt together with a photographer friend.

March 2017

More employees, more projects, more client meetings. We are also moving into our own office in Zurich. From now on, you can always get fresh coffee, snacks and tasty drinks at our office.

October 2018

Our Zurich office is slowly becoming too stuffy and too small - we move to the Universitätstrasse, turning one room into four.

January 2019

In order to remain flexible and dynamic in the long term, we transform the existing GmbH into the jkweb ag that exists today. jkweb now employs 25 people.

October 2019

Our team is transforming - many of the students who once shaped our DNA are now full-time professionals working in the office every day. To provide more space, we take over a second floor in our office building.

August 2020

We want to share our many years of experience and our enthusiasm for the digital world with a new generation: With Luca, we are taking on an apprentice for the first time.

January 2021

On the occasion of our tenth anniversary, we are at last taking a closer look at our own website. Of course, both design and implementation are done in-house.
